Payment & Cancellation Policies


Daily Walks
- Full payment for the week is due each Monday of that week of services.
- There is a 3 day minimum for our services per week. There will be a $2.00 increase per visit for less than 3 walks per week, even on holiday weeks. You are permitted 3 “less than 3 visits” weeks every 6 months.
- Each visit is no less than 20 minutes and no more than ½ hour.
- A call or e-mail to or Colleen Amos by 4:00 p.m. Sunday is needed for the upcoming week if you have a change outside your normal schedule.
- Cancellations made after the Sunday before the walk week will still be charged for walk/walks that week.
- Payment is due each Monday of the service week. If payment is consistently late, a $2.00 service charge will be added for each week payment is not presented on that Monday. For example, if payment is presented on Tuesday or Wednesday of that week, a $2.00 fee will be charged for that week. During the last week of each month, late fees will be added to the last payment of the month.
- Since mid-day walks (Noon - 1:00 p.m.) is our most popular time, we can only promise you that your pet can be visited as early at 11:00 a.m. and as late as 2:30 p.m.
- We have specific guidelines pertaining to the winter and summer months. Those policies will be given at the beginning of each season.
- A two-week notice is required for cancellation of services. This is to allow us to book other business should there be an opportunity. If you discontinue services before that time, you will be charged for two weeks of service.
- Should you lock yourself out of your home or lose your key, you may call your pet sitter for admittance to your home; however, just like a locksmith, there will be a $40.00 fee which will be paid upon arrival for your sitter’s travel time. The cost will be higher on holidays. If you chose to come and pick up the key, you will need to return our copy of the key to us the same day, no fee will be charged.
Vacation Travelers
- Because we reserve this space for you, 65% of payment is due on our intro visit. This amount is non-refundable should you cancel your place.
- Balance is due within 5 days of your return. If not paid within those 5 days, 10 percent of you balance will accumulate for each week balance is not paid.
- For returning clients, full payment is due on the first visit. A non-refundable Sixty Five percent is due upon your reservation request. Mailed to: COLLEEN Amos 564 Audubon Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15228
- Because you have contracted our services during your trip for specific dates, should you return early, no credit or refunds will be given.
- There will be a $5.00 pick-up fee for keys picked up after intro visit.
- There is a $20.00 fee for cancellations after an introductory visit is performed. This includes a post phoned or cancelled trip. This is to compensate for travel and time for your pet sitter.
- Holiday visits will be charged time and ½. Those holidays would include Jan 1, Easter Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day.
- Fees are dependent on location, number of pets, and length of visit (45 min max) unless discussed, and activity requested.
- There is a three visits per day maximum.
- Route hours 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. for first and last visits.
- Full day and special occasion sitting is available with advance notice and availability.
